An Inside Look
C. Daniel Vega
Danny was born in South Carolina on February 8, 1970. At the age of six, his family moved to Puerto Rico to serve in missions where he became fluent in Spanish.
Upon returning to South Carolina, he attended Irmo High School, graduating in 1988. In 1992, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Citadel.
Following college, he worked for two years as a Therapeutic Assistant at the Medical University of South Carolina. Danny then moved to Florida where he worked as a Neurodiagnostic Technician for five years. Thereafter, he enrolled at the Regent University School of Law.
Danny obtained his Juris Doctor in 2002. While attending Regent University, Mr. Vega clerked with Habitat for Humanity, served as the Law Vice-Chair for the Counsel of Graduate Students, became the Assistant Supervisor of Access Services for the Regent University law library, and was named to the Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges 2002. He also served as a Deacon at Kempsville Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Danny practices Workers' Compensation law and is a member of the American Association for Justice, the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of South Carolina Claimant Attorneys for Workers' Compensation. He is a member of the Hispanic Leadership Council where he has formally served as a Board of Directors member. In addition, he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Centers for Equal Justice, as Treasurer, and on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Brain Injury Alliance.
Danny currently lives in Columbia, S.C., with his wife and five children.
