Chappell Smith & Arden files class action lawsuit
Posted on 01/25/08On January 25, 2008, Chappell Smith and Arden filed a class action lawsuit against a national insurance company and several of its subsidiaries in federal district court in Columbia, South Carolina. The Complaint, brought on behalf of a proposed class of South Carolina employers, alleges that the insurance companies engaged in a long term scheme of insurance and premium abuse to the detriment of employers who puchased workers' compensation insurance through one of the defendant companies.

Seymour in Federal District Court in Columbia, South Carolina, which arise out of the January 6, 2005, train derailment and chlorine gas spill in Graniteville, South Carolina.
