On April 27, 2019, CSA Law hosted a 4 Legged 4K Walk/Run for owners and their beloved pets, primarily dogs. Proceeds from the race were donated to the Homeward Bound Pet Rescue, an all-volunteer, 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue in the Columbia/Irmo area of South Carolina. Their goal is to make a difference in the community by rescuing stray, homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs, from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer provide for them. They do not have a facility, therefore their dogs stay in foster homes until adopted. They accept all breeds, sizes, and ages into the rescue and provide all necessary veterinary care, including spay/neuter & routine vaccinations, food and supplies needed to care for each pet until adopted.
Pet vendors participated along with owners, their pets, and representatives from the law firm and their families. Prizes were awarded, and many owners and their dogs enjoyed the day together.
