Chappell Smith & Arden, P.A. is proud to announce the addition of two new partners, Mark Chappell, Jr. and George Taylor. We are excited to welcome both of these attorneys into our partnership, as we have the utmost confidence that they have what it takes to help lead our law firm into the future.
Mark has helped countless clients achieve successful results in cases involving tractor trailer collisions, train derailments, dog bites, motor vehicle collisions, wrongful death lawsuits, consumer law utilities violations, and premises liability claims. Mark is a proud graduate of Wofford College where he graduated with a B.A. in Business – Economics, and a minor in Government. After graduation, Mark was a banker in Charleston, South Carolina for several years. After finding his calling, Mark returned to Columbia and attended the University of South Carolina – School of Law.
George’s practice is concentrated exclusively in workers’ compensation. George has represented hundreds of injured workers, including those with brain and spinal injuries, to maximize their rights to benefits under the law. He is passionate about representing injury victims and takes great pride in the personal relationship he builds with each of his clients. George grew up in Laurens County and attended public schools. He received his bachelor’s degree from The Citadel. After graduating, he accepted a Commission into the U.S. Air Force and deployed multiple times during his service as an intelligence officer. After leaving the Air Force, George attended the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he graduated with honors.
